Fire Safety Webquest
The Process
In your assigned groups, you are to look at the websites below. One Fire Marshall will compile a list of tips on fire prevention in the home. Another will compile a list of what to do incase your clothing catches on fire. The third Fire Marshall will write a tips list for creating with a family evacuation plan. Together you will discuss your results and create your pamphlet.
Individually Fire Marshalls are to map out their home on a piece of poster board, map out your evacuation plan. When you go home go over this with your family, run drills together. Use the pamphlet your group created and check your house, teach your parents and siblings about fire safety. With a parent with you, distribute extra pamphlets your group created to your neighbors.
